Vieste is a small town located on the eastern point of Cape Gargano. Situated on the seafront, it offers picturesque views and landscapes. The area forms part of the Gargano National Park.

Gargano National Park and the Umbra Forest. The Umbra Forest, which is unique due to its richness in wildlife, is located at the heart of the Gargano, a few kilometres from Vieste. You can reach it by car and then continue your journey on foot or by bicycle.

How to get here.
Vieste is connected to the motorway by several main roads. The exits are: Poggio Imperiale, Candela and Foggia.
If you come by train the nearest station is Foggia; if arriving by plane, it is best to fly to Bari, Pescara or Naples.
The Puglia Airbus is very convenient and runs from May to October from the Bari airport to the centre of Vieste.
